An Introduction.

Hi, my name is Megan. I'm 18 years old and I live in a small town by the name of Tustin. Even though this town is located in Southern California, it's different than the rest. People come here to live here, have families here, grow old here, and die here. It's not much like Los Angeles or San Diego. Those places are filled with people who come and go; they're places that are continually thriving with livelihood. Here, people know each other. They stay with their neighborhoods and probably belong to some church. And yeah, sure this place sounds cute and sweet, but there's not much going on for a teenager with reasonable morals.

I'm not going to sit here and indulge in telling my entire life story. Instead, I will start from when I was 13 or 14. Don't worry, I'll make this quick. That was when I became a freshman at Foothill High School. More importantly, that's when I became a freshman in the Foothill High School Band. :) I spent four years developing who I was in that group and having friends that will hopefully last me a lifetime. I traveled to Hawaii with that group (and screwed up while I was there/on the way home) and even went with the group to achieve two sweepstakes trophies in marching events. I love the band with all my heart.

However, I have graduated high school and have began the next chapter in my life: college. I attend Orange Coast College (OCC) in Costa Mesa and that's that. I live in a small apartment with my brother Jake and my mother Stephanie. I guess you could say that if you walked in through the front door, you could tell that this place is lived in. There's a messy pile of shoes, a couch that looks exhausted from massive usage, a TV, and one of the keys to my life: my Xbox 360. Go into my room and it looks about the same.

It is time for change. And realistically, there is no better time than now. I am changing the way I live in every aspect. I mean, if I weren't, then this blog wouldn't be titled Extreme Makeover: Life Edition, now wouldn't it? I'm not asking for a bunch of followers, roaring views, or internet fame. Hell, I'm not asking for any reader period. All I'm asking for is a place to document my failures and my achievements. So, here goes nothing.
